Biographical Info

Nuku ā-roto• an inner shift.
Nuku Yoga is a wonderfully imperfect community yoga & movement space in Ngāmotu where you are welcome exactly as you are.
Nuku is lucky to be home to teachers with unique voices and interpretations of movement. We offer a diverse range of classes: Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Beginners, Pilates Yoga, reo Māori Yoga, Nia Dance, and more.

Our pricing runs on a sliding scale, a reflection of the values at the heart of Nuku. We believe yoga should be accessible to everyone in our community, regardless of what life looks like financially right now. If our pricing still feels like a push, please reach out to [email protected], we will do what we can to help you access yoga & movement 💛

Where? Our studio is upstairs at 13 Brougham Street, New Plymouth, 4310 (across from Puke Ariki Library, look for our yellow sign!) and we have casual classes running at Fitzroy Surf Life Saving Club
When? We have 16+ classes throughout the week, see our website for an up to date timetable.

Who? Our intention is that there is something for everyone here, whether you are new to yoga, returning from time away or a regular practitioner. Our classes are catered to all age ranges, Glenn offers Iyengar Yoga, a practice that is accessible and empowering option for our older community. If you are new to yoga, we
offer a Beginners Vinyasa class every Friday at 11am or quarterly Beginners Iyengar courses. If in doubt, pātai mai ki a mātou [email protected]
