Group Hire for the Upper Floor of the Tasman Club (managed by Waimanako)
Kia ora – thank you so much for your interest in hosting your group at The Tasman Club Upper Floor – which is looked after by Waimanako.
Waimanako is part of Taranaki Retreat Trust – a local suicide prevention charity – operating a Support Cafe in this beautiful space. We hire the top floor of The Tasman Club where the cafe is hosted (on weekdays), and manage other bookings in the space. Funds raised through hire of the space are passed on to The Tasman Club until we hit our weekly target level – after which your group will be contributing to supporting our community mahi.
So – every group utilising this space helps us towards hitting that goal AND supports The Tasman Club to maintain this space for the community – for which – thank you!
Group Hire Pricing
Groups of 20 or more
First two hours: $40
Subsequent hours: $17.50 per hour or part thereof
Groups of 10-19
First two hours: $35
Subsequent hours: $15 per hour or part thereof
Groups of less than 10
First two hours: $25
Subsequent hours: $10 per hour or part thereof
Groups charging no fee for members to attend
By koha – meet to discuss
Regular groups, for shared use of the space
By koha – meet to discuss
Casual users – Bookings for a one-off meeting or group (not social gatherings such as birthday celebrations)
First two hours: $50
Subsequent hours $22.50 per hour
