Biographical Info

Originally from North Carolina, Travis is a Registered Social Worker and moved to Aotearoa/New Zealand in 2016. While in the US, majority of his experience was ascertained through wilderness therapy and residential programs for at-risk youth. Travis believes in a holistic view of the human condition and advocates for positive incremental change through consistent practice and conscious effort. He is an independent contractor for several EAPs (Employee Assistance Programs) including Telus (formerly Benestar), OCP, Vitae, WPO and Habit Health.
As part of his Macro Social Work practice, he is currently endeavoring to expand offerings in the way of nutrient dense food via market gardening as, he believes, our relationship/connection to our kai and to the Earth is fundamental to our own energy, health, and vitality. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, aikido, meditation, reading, woodworking, and laughing/cooking with his wife.
